Tuscan Peppers are Italian peppers processed fresh and cold-acidified, without any cooking step. The raw material arrives at the workshop in crates and is washed and processed immediately, with a maximum time of 3-4 days from field to processing. The covering liquid is made of olive oil. The choice of olive oil rather than extra virgin olive oil is functional to the product: a more neutral oil does not cover the flavor of the pepper and ensures better shelf stability over time, allowing a shelf life of up to 36 months unopened. They are ideal as an appetizer on a platter, as a side dish for meat courses, as an ingredient for rustic sandwiches, rice salads, or cold pasta.
