The aged cured ham "Il Poggetto" is a bone-in ham obtained from legs of 100% Italian pork, raised in Emilia Romagna and Tuscany. The salting is done by hand and the aging - of at least 12 months - takes place in our facility in Poggio a Caiano, Tuscany. Twelve months that can be tasted in the semi-sweet flavor and in the aroma released by the first slice. It is a ham with no added preservatives: only Italian pork, salt, and natural flavors. A choice that leaves room for time and the quality of the raw material. Gluten-free, lactose-free and free from milk derivatives. Italian cured ham is best enjoyed sliced thin, at the moment. Perfect as an appetizer, accompanied by bread and cheeses, or as an ingredient in traditional Italian dishes. The vacuum-sealed packaging preserves aroma and freshness until slicing.
